Tony DeGennaro

Owner & Consultant

Tony DeGennaro is the proud owner of Sergio’s Pest Pros, which his father, Sergio (deceased), founded in 1976. Tony has been involved with the business from a young age, helping his father start the business after working for a different pest control company in the area. He is thrilled that his son, Dion (3rd Generation), chose to work alongside him starting in 2006, and then joined this busy and successful company full-time in 2011.

Tony has been happily married for over 20 years and has three children, six grandchildren, and two very spoiled rescued cats. He enjoys working closely with his wife, Susan Papazian Cobb, the owner of Hunter House Hamburgers in Birmingham, MI, which has been open since 1952. Tony’s son, Kelly Cobb (3rd Generation), also contributes to that busy restaurant/food truck business. Meanwhile, his daughter, Jackie Cobb Gallinaro, lives and works in Denver as a VP for a successful and prospering startup based out of San Francisco.

Other than his business, Tony has several passions in life. He advocates for a healthy lifestyle and is an avid follower of healthy foods and daily exercise (he belongs to a gym and works out daily so he can splurge on pizza and donuts!). He also enjoys golfing and is part of a golf league with his friends, always eager to try the newest golf club out. Additionally, he’s a successful day trader, loves traveling, is a car and truck enthusiast who follows every new model’s nuances, and enjoys being on the open road in his RV, usually headed towards the west for sightseeing and golf.

Dion DeGennaro

General Manager

Dion has grown up in the family business at Sergio’s Pest Pros, whether he was hanging out in the office when it was housed in the basement of their childhood home or accompanying technicians on service calls after being picked up from elementary school. Dion began working part-time for his father after obtaining certification in 2006, providing assistance during his summer breaks. After going to college, Dion became a full-time technician for the company in 2011 and has since dedicated the last 12 years to learning every aspect of the business. Dion’s efforts culminated in his taking over the day-to-day operations of the company in 2020 as General Manager where he helped guide the business through the challenging time of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Apart from managing the company, Dion and his partner, Jackie, are enthusiastic birders and enjoy going on hikes with their Golden Retriever, Moog. Dion also moonlights as a professional photographer and an amateur musician. When not taking care of their clients, you can find Dion playing with his synthesizers or editing pictures of the latest birds he’s encountered.

Michelle Pryce-Laskos

Customer Service Associate

Michelle has been a valued member of Sergio’s Pest Pros team for five years! As an excellent customer service associate, Michelle is always ready to answer the phone with a smile. She has a passion for helping others, and her natural ability to connect with people makes her an indispensable member of our customer service team.

In addition to solving pest control issues for our customers, Michelle enjoys spending her leisure time-solving puzzles, reading mystery novels with her book club, swimming, boating, attending Pilates classes, watching movies, and most of all, scratching instant lottery tickets!!

Tommy Fellows

Certified Technician

Tommy has been an integral part of Sergio’s Pest Pros team for 10 years. He is appreciated for his cheerful and outgoing personality, always having a smile on his face, and exceptional enthusiasm for his work. Before joining our team, he had previous experience spraying trees and shrubs to keep them pest-free. With over 16 years in the pest control industry, he is certified by the Michigan Department of Agriculture in Wood Destroying Insects, Mosquito Control, and General Pest Management. Additionally, as an Arachnid Specialist and member of the American Arachnological Society, he can identify nearly every spider with friends and neighbors regularly bringing them to him in baggies for identification.

Tommy is happily married with three children and enjoys his hobbies such as fishing and hunting. Having bagged a 6-point buck, it is his largest kill so far. Alongside his interests in auto racing (although mother nature won’t permit him to take part), he is also an avid supporter of the University of Michigan Sports.

Kurt Metzger

Certified Technician

Kurt became a member of Sergio’s Pest Pros team in the summer of 2020. Although he was new to the industry, he quickly adapted to the business and figuring out how to solve pest control problems. He settled into his new role almost immediately.

Kurt is a Wayne State University graduate with a degree in Business Management. Aside from work, he is passionate about sports, fitness, and spending time with his dog, Marvel.

Jacob Bartholomew

Certified Technician

Jacob joined Sergio’s Pest Pros in December 2020, and though he was new to the industry, he quickly adapted and became a favorite technician among our customers.

When not working, Jacob enjoys playing board games and serving as a DM for role-playing games. He’s an ardent cat Dad and loves to read. Jacob also likes to travel and embark on adventures with his wife, yet their latest journey involves becoming new parents to their baby girl.

Brian Bush

Certified Technician

Brian is our newest team member at Sergio’s, having joined the team after returning to his hometown to support his family who are past Sergio’s clients. Prior to joining us, he spent seven successful years in San Diego.

Brian is a proud alumnus of Adrian College where he excelled both as a student and a two sport athlete, playing both football and basketball. His academic prowess is equally remarkable, holding a degree in Business Marketing.

He carries a profound love for arts and animals, reflected in his appreciation for dogs, cats, and birds. Beyond his regular work, Brian’s passions also lie in music production and coaching. His spare time is often spent on the golf course training to one day play on the PGA tour.
